Qatari Women's Affairs Series: Women's Changing Role Amid Covid-19 Pandemic

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been varied across all segments of society, however, its repercussions for women have been significant. 

Coinciding with International Women’s Day 2021, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is launching a webinar titled ‘Women's Changing Role Amid COVID-19’. 

This webinar will examine the impact of COVID-19 on women, and its consequences on their health, social, domestic, and financial security. Furthermore, the webinar will present important recommendations and practices that can reduce the damage caused by the pandemic on society, and women in particular.

This event is the second in a series of webinars on Qatari women's affairs organized by graduates of the MA in Women, Society and Development program to tackle women’s issues in the light of societal progress and economic development in Qatar.
