The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been varied across all segments of society, however, its repercussions for women have been significant.
Coinciding with International Women’s Day 2021, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is launching a webinar titled ‘Women's Changing Role Amid COVID-19’.
This webinar will examine the impact of COVID-19 on women, and its consequences on their health, social, domestic, and financial security. Furthermore, the webinar will present important recommendations and practices that can reduce the damage caused by the pandemic on society, and women in particular.
