About the Panelists:

• Dimitri Yuri:

  Dimitri is an Art History Graduate and VCUarts Qatar Class of 2018 Co-Valedictorian. He works as a writer and director for the Film House in Doha and has written and directed commercials for esteemed companies such as Qatar Airways, Ooreedoo and the Mondrian. One of his most recent projects was the Ooredoo commercial video inspired by Netflix’s popular series Money Heist where he helped developed the script and directed the filming of the commercial.

• Nada Bedair:

  Nada is an NUQatar and UCL alumni who is passionate about social justice and women empowerment. She has worked on over 10 short films and hopes to inspire and empower women through her films. She is currently part of the MFA programmer in Film Studies in New York University.
