#UniteToProtect​

Following a call for action from Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, a new momentum has started after the UN General Assembly proclaimed 9 September the International Day to Protect Education from Attack. The International Day is a catalyst for further action towards increased accountability for violations of the right to education of children and youth.

#UniteToProtect aims to halt the continuous culture of impunity for education-related violations of international law and built on global justice, bringing the need to strengthen mechanisms for the protection of education to all agendas.

Our aim through this campaign is to:

• Drive transnational advocacy through both high-level and grassroots platforms for the protection of education for the most vulnerable communities
• Highlight the crucial need to strengthen mechanisms for the protection of education from attack
• End the culture of impunity surrounding education-related violations of international laws; and
• Ensure uninterrupted access to inclusive and equitable quality education.
